2009 is here now. So what’s next? Its hard to say. The world are currently in a mess. In term of economy, political and social. All have gone towards the downturn. I am feeling a bit of those woes although indirectly but it is there.

During the new year eve, me and my friends were having a BBQ. We chat and ate and chat again. One of the topic was about employment and jobs vacancy. You see a few of my friends are working as operator and technician at a few factory namely Komag (currently have been taken over by Western Digital), xfab, Taiyo Yuden and few more.

These factories consist of thousand of employees and these employees are currently receiving around RM800 to RM1000 ++ salary per month. That is even we counted their overtime and allowances (different amount of salary for engineer and higher staff). From those figure alone i knew there are receiving a lot of money considering that they are working in factory. In the past, when one say he is working in a factory, it would surely trigger the thought of gaining salary amounting to RM400 to RM500 per month. But This show that they are lucky to get that kind of salary.

As we all know, recession has come into place and its hard for some of those company i mention surviving. I ask my friends the state of their organization. All of them said that they can’t do anymore overtime plus one of the company are really closing. What will happen to all the workers there? Their debt? Their family? How is the State and Federal Government are going to help on this one? Surely this would mean higher employment rate. Hopefully it does not mean higher social problem and crime rate. Most of the workers there are SPM holders only. There are also those with Diploma and Degree as well working there. For those that has SPM as their ticket, it surely mean a lot of problem to them. Of course those with diploma and degree might have problem looking for jobs as well. But they have their diploma and degree of which they can surely look another jobs that can match their salary at the factory. But for the SPM holder? It would be harder. There are jobs out there that could pay them but the problem is how many are the jobs? The demand is always high so it wouldn’t be sufficient enough for all of them. The compensation they receive as a result from the retrenchment will not be sufficient considering those people who have bought a house, car and family to feed.

I really pity them. Hopefully everything will be fine. Hopefully this year will bring a lot of good happenings to people all around the world.

Hey have you ever seen animal planets, most funniest video? I usually watch them in the past except now i rarely watch television except under certain circumstances where i am tired and want to relax from doing any of planning in getting money online. Back when i still have my Astro, i used to watch a lot of movies, drama. You name it and i’ll watch it. But it limited to mostly English Language Movie or Drama or tele-movie or whatever they call it.

So Discovery Channel are one of the channel i used to watch and i just love to see weird animal behavior and so on. Here one for you.

History. A subject that most really hate in school including myself. Hence i got 7 for my History in SPM examination. Well its not my favourite subject and i would rather do well on the subject i really master. There are no use to struggle for one subject rather than killing all of the other subject.

An ancient history is part of who we are today. Without it, we would be somehow become different today. I would also agree that we sometimes do regret what we did in the past but it is ancient history and its what teaches us what we are now. Damn, i keep saying the same thing repeatedly.

I was suppose to write about this a few days ago when i came back from traveling. This place really shows a lot of cruelty and i myself never expected that there were such thing in my home state. First of all i will show you the picture of the thing.

Looking at the figure, its sure look like a normal pole. But it is not and it is about 100 years of age and my guess is that a very important figure soul are wandering around it. He He He. This picture was taken from Dalat and the population here are mostly consist of Melanau.

So we went around it and took some picture and i manage to get the picture of the description. I can write to you and explain about it but as they say picture are worth a thousand worth.

See how the past are cruel. Just because of one king, two other person have to die as well. It is really an interesting history considering it involve sacrifice as well. The Ibans cuts other head as a sign of warrior. But that is a different story.

During when i was in school (secondary school) most of my friends like to watch DragonBallz cartoon on tv3 (if i am not mistaken). It was a long time ago and i couldn’t really remember the date and the year. Some of them went on and bought Dragonballz comic. I wasn’t unable to watch TV a lot of time during that era. Its all due to a lot of weekend class and activities and plus i got tuition and all.So i don’t really have time to watch the cartoon or read the comic.

So at this moment, i can say that i don’t really know much about DragonBallz cartoon or comic. Damn miss the old school days of my life. There are a lot things that i can do but with limited times, its all i can do. Well enough said.

So how was it? Damn it seems a lot better than what i heard from others. Although during that time, the preview wasn’t available yet. I am surely gonna watch it next year. Although the storyline might be different or the hero aren’t seems to be like the one in the comic but surely its one of its kind. let see whether this kind of movie fail or succeded in getting a lot of sales.

And yes, i don’t know who the hero is. WTH played as Goku in this movie? For starters, there is Chow Yun Fat in the movie.

I guess if you are living around asia, you should have heard the word Dangdut. Ha Ha Ha. Its entertainment by the way. Music to be exact. And mostly this kind of music are created by the Indonesian people with people dancing around. And when i say dance, i meant exotic kind of style.

You must be wondering why do i blogged about this kind of stuff. Well, it because something related happen during my lunch hour. You see, for every lunch hour i would always go to this shop to eat. There are other restaurant or coffee house but this one is nearest to my office. Knowing who i am (lazy), so i just went to nearest shop available to me. Unless that is, all my friends are going other places or the shop close.

So today, me and my friends went to the shops to eat our lunch. One thing that struck me is the music. ha ha ha. They played the Dangdut songs. And while eating my lunch, my eyes were fix to the television. ha ha ha. Gelek gerudi. wakakakakakaa. Well it’s just for fun and entertainment during that time.

And while watching the television and having my lunch at the same time, i notice there were a big big speaker there. So i ask the waitress, and they actually have a karaoke sessions at night (every night) in that shop. Wow is that legal? Considering the shop don’t have any entertainment license. I don’t know much about license actually but i smell something fishy there.

Oh ya before i forgot, here one dangdut for you. waakakkakakakaa

Today marks the Hari Raya Haji for all muslims around the world.  I would want to convey my wish to all muslims Selamat Hari Raya Haji. Sorry i don’t know the translation for English. He He He. My English is kinda weak if you know what i mean. If you really read my blog, you are bound to find some gramatical and spelling error here and there. But it doesn’t mean i should quit writing right? Selamat Hari Raya Haji to all my muslims friends.

Oh ya do you notice, my blog is snowing. It would be around 17 more days till Christmas. I haven’t got any time to do any shopping yet. Usually i’ll wait till the last minute. Furthermore, there is nothing i wanted to buy except a few presents only. Maybe i’ll buy a new jeans and a shirts. That about it.

I’ll be going back to my village a day before Christmas though. Its not that far actually. Maybe around one hour of driving. There is no need for me to be rushing things right?

Still, shopping, shopping, shopping. Its what i been hearing from people around me. Most of the shopping complex are doing promotion. So its might be a very good time to buy something for the loved ones. Cheaper and more affordable than current days. I heard that one store in Sibu sells Levi’s at a really discount rate. The funny things is that you can negotiate the price. Ha Ha Ha. I know its not genuine but its still cheap. Furthermore people are not going to realize whether you are using pirated goods.

I hoping my claims will be paid by my department before Christmas. So i got extra money to buy more present and goodies to celebrate Christmas. Maybe buying a new Christmas tree to decorate the house. A few bling bling here and there, i guess will be good.

I went to the PC fair again today. Man am i tired of having to drive a few times to the same place with the same activity and that is exchanging an unusable FM Modulator. I walk in and told the seller what had happened. I ask him whether i can get any refund as i am tired of going back and forth to the same place again. Furthermore, i keep forgetting bringing my USB Flash Drive along with me to the place.

But this time i did bring my USB Flash Drive. The seller ask me what type of USB Flash Drive that i am using. So i just gave him and all he said was “Oh Apacer”. It couldn’t be the Apacer’s fault. So he ask me to choose a new one. I got confused and i don’t which one should i pick. As i was standing there looking, he pick it up for me and he told me the price is RM24. The last FM Modulator cost around RM29 so i got a refund of RM5. I agree with him and took that FM Modulator with me. He told me again that if the damn thing didn’t work out, just sent it back for exchange again. Damn.

So as soon as i got back to my car, i tried every single Flash Drive i had. For your information i got around 4 Flash Drive. After all the testing, i am currently satisfied with this one. Although the design seem old school with screen just like Motorola HP (the red numbering and lettering), all the function seems good. Including the remote control.

Hopefully this one will last for a longer period of time. And hurey i get to listen all the songs that i like. It also play the last song that you played on it upon starting the engine right after you off the engine.

Do you have any FM Modulator? I just bought mine yesterday. Actually i can listen to CD’s on my car but it just that it is more convenient to listen to mp3 as i can store more songs on a pen drive. Oh ya my car is Myvi and it is not the latest version of Myvi where you can play MP3, Bluetooth and a whole lot more. There are more that you can do with the new Myvi that you cannot do with the old Myvi.

So luckily yesterday was the opening of ICT Fair or better know as PC Fair. Its where most electronic gadget are located in one big room to do promotion. In a way it i cheap but for me the price are still the same when there are no PC Fair. But we all have our own opinion on that though.

So i bought my FM Modulator yesterday at the price of RM28.00. It is cheap considering that i have only seen it at around RM30 and above. So i bought one yesterday. So in the evening i tested it and the damn thing just didn’t work. So a bit frustrated so today i went to the PC Fair in hope to return it and get a new one. And you know what i got a new one and i tried it again and it got damage of which i don’t know how. I just use it normally and for a minute or two it works perfectly fine until it suddenly got damage again by itself.

This afternoon i went there again and change it to a new model. Surprisingly, the damn FM Modulator got damaged again. Stupid company want to rip my money off. Now i am off there again in hope to get my money back and buy the FM Modulator from another company.

This teach me that cheap goods aren’t always good right especially if it involve electronic product.
